Explore Cannes and the Iles des Lérins
Live la vie cannois. Head in to the bustling Marché Forville Tuesday-Sunday mornings for fresh groceries. Recover in a surrounding bar with an espresso or apéro or potter down to Astoux et Brun for a fresh seafood platter and glass of champagne. Hit the boutiques along the Rue d'Antibes and Croisette then take in a cocktail at sunset at the Martinez Plage or head up to the top of Le Suquet for breathtaking views of Cannes and its surrounding coastline. The more adventurous can take the ferry across to the Ile des Lérins for spectacular views, a casual beach lunch and explore the fort that kept the man in the iron mask imprisoned during Louis XIV's reign and monastery at St Honorat

Peruse the local boutiques or head to the famous Pamplonne beach to explore the peninsula and hiddden coves. Finally head to the hills to Gassin for rosé wine tasting at Château Minuty and spectacular views across Provence and its coastline from dinner at Bello Visto
Take an adventure along the Gorge du Verdon hiking along vertiginous cliffs and kayaking through crystal waters
Drive through Provence towards Moustières Sainte Marie and head to the Galetas bridge to explore the stunning natural phenonmen that is the Gorge du Verdon formed by the river casting its path through limestone cliffs hundreds of thousands of years ago now emptying into the Lac de St Croix. Rent a pedalo, kayak or go rafting to explore the turquoise waters and nearby caves or hike along or bungee from the winding cliffs that can reach 700 metres high
Head over to the Italian Ligurian coast for truffles in the hills, local white wine and food along coastal towns and explore some of the largest markets in the region
Take the coastal train from Ranguin to Ventimiglia to explore the largest weekly market in Europe, stop over for lunch in one of the surrounding villages or up into the hills to the beautifully conserved 13th century village of Apricale for seasonal food renowned during truffle season, cobblestone paths and spectacular views or spend a couple of days exploring the coastal resorts from Alassio to Portofino
Hit the slopes of Gréolières and Isola 2000
Once you see the snow caps form on the Alps from the top floor windows of the chateau you can reach Isola in less than 90 minutes and discover over 120 km of piste. At 2000m, the resort is one of the highest in the Alps which with a favourable micro-climate, ensures fairly reliable snow cover. The resort also has a snow park, including jumps and rails, 3 km of cross-country ski piste and downhill racing facilities. You will be ideally situated to please family and friends who equally enjoy time on the beach and on the slopes.
